(Un)Cover – Jouffre

Jouffre is pleased to invite you to the inauguration of its new space located in Long Island City, only a few minutes away from Manhattan.

Beginning in our ateliers, we invite you to discover and meet our artisans who will be at-work crafting the visions of our collaborators. With the acquisition of a studio twice the size of our last, we are excited to demonstrate our growing capabilities and eagerness to take on even grander and finer projects.

Journeying to the new showroom will reveal our presentation of “Eclecticism”, a scenography imagined by Garcé & Dimofski in collaboration with several talented contemporary designers including Ian Felton, Minjae Kim, Garance Vallée, and Jouffre’s own design studio which will be surrounded by surrealist objects from R & Company. Their creations will be intertwined with iconic pieces from Maison Royère, all created from the designer’s personal archives and manufactured in France by the most highly skilled artisans.

This scenography poetically approaches the idea of a figurative universe inspired by Pierre Le-Tan’s lithographs, featured on the cover of several magazines. This aesthetic game reflecting different styles and eras is the result of exceptional French savoir-faire.

5:00 pm: Cocktail hour and self-guided tour of the workroom while the artisans work on their creations in progress
6:30 pm: Opening speech and toast
6:30 – 9:00 pm: Showroom opening with buffet and drinks
9:00 pm: DJ Disco after-party
