Together We Thrive, partnering with Hester Street, would like to invite you to participate in this opportunity to amplify the voices and work of Black business owners and designers. Our vision during this week-long festival is to offer space to broadcast voices in Black design, as well as generate opportunities for demonstrations of their work. This will include panel discussion, retail space and networking opportunities for designers and business owners to meet socially, connect professionally, and shape the perceptions of how design is defined. We want to incorporate spaces for the public to interact with the work of designers in the fields of fashion, engineering, architecture, art, furniture, construction, and beyond.
Together We Thrive is hosting a tri-borough series of events in Harlem, Bed-Stuy, and Jamaica, Queens. The third event will be hosted in Jamaica, Queens. Partnering with the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation, we will be hosting a panel discussion on Black entrepreneurship in NYC, with a lens on tech design, architectural design and much more. This panel will be simultaneously live streamed on multiple platforms. During and afterwards is a networking event for Black entrepreneurs from all over the city to mingle and gain potential partners and clientele.
