On the occasion of “OUI Design” from May 18-22, Maison Gerard will exceptionally open the doors of both its galleries to the public over the weekend. The director Benoist Drut and his team will treat the visitors to a historical tour of Art Deco and contemporary design. For the event, the gallery will present an exhibit on the importance of Nature as a source of inspiration, through the work of its contemporary Francophone artists.
On May 20, at 2.30pm, meet the contemporary French artist Franck Evennou, a French artist and craftsman specializing in bronze furnishings, and discover his work, his technique and his aesthetics through a gallery tour at Maison Gerard – an antiques “maisonnett” specializing in collectible French art deco furniture, lighting & objets d’art. Franck Evennou will present his pieces and talk about his creative process, while the gallery owner, Benoist Drut, will complement his presentation by drawing parallels between Franc’s work and vintage work exhibited in the gallery. | Register here.
