NYCxDESIGN presents: THE MIC:”Designing Brands and Products for Women”

As a featured event of this year’s NYCxDESIGN Festival, we invite you to a live podcast recording of “The Mic”, NYCxDESIGN’s seminal podcast hosted by Debbie Millman, that offers an inside look into New York City’s most creative design minds. Known for sharing the perspective of some of the industry’s fearless leaders, our celebration on May 24th sponsored by Flamingo, will feature a discussion on designing products and creating brands for women, with their bodies and choices in mind.

Debbie – herself one of only five women who have held the title of President Emeritus of the American Institute of Graphic Arts in over 100 years – will lead a panel of design revolutionaries that includes Cher Russo, the Creative Director at Flamingo with previous lead creative roles at Glossier and Estée Lauder; Natasha Jen, an award-winning designer, educator, and partner at Pentagram; and Erica Eden, the founder of Tribe & Citizen and previously the Founder of Femme Den.

After the discussion, guests will have an opportunity to connect over happy hour appetizers and beverages, and view some of Flamingo’s award-winning body hair & care products.
