Find a moment of presence and rest in-between the sheets

In an era of instability and constant change, the bed becomes the most essential place for reconnection to the self. The place our only home in the future. A place to celebrate a moment of rest. An immersive experience meshing the physically- with the virtually crafted landscape to explore. For and with all of us restless creatures. 

Annabelle Schneider is a New York based, Swiss born, up and coming artist and designer. She graduated with an MFA ID from Parsons Interior Design and most recently got awarded with Metropolis Future100 (2023).

For NYCxDESIGN, from May 20th – 25^th, Annabelle invites you to visit the immersive experience of physical and virtually crafted worlds that stand in dialogue with our body, soul and mind in between the sheets, fostering presence while resting in a bed. 

The temporary installation blends art, spatial design with immersive technology. Climb the spatial installation designed with Casper’s latest mattress model “The Casper” and immerse into a physically woven landscape of golden foils embracing the space and your bodies in form of sheets and capes – All fabrics are reactive to body temperature.

Join our experience, immerse with the Virtual Reality experience of daily affirmations that bring you back to the present. A journey Annabelle designed in collaboration with Simran Jagnik. Accompanied by a soundtrack by multiple Grammy-winning producer collective Basscharity.
