Central St. Martin / Design Transforms: Borders

Design Transforms Borders invites participants to join live studios of ceramic making, dinners and debates promoting access, learning and social justice with communities of Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Led by design specialists from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London and human rights activist organizations Touching Land and Territorial Empathy, the studio is co-producing an Installation, workshops, 3 expert panels, discursive ticketed dinners taking place throughout Industry City’s campus.

BLDG 1, Factory Floor: Live studios of ceramic making and interactive design workshops led by Central Saint Martin and local design schools. Workshops for local schools taking place Thursday and Friday, with public programing Saturday and Sunday.

Ticketed dinner series with expert panels will take place May 12, 13 and 16, purchase tickets here. Tickets include dinner, drinks, discussion, and a designed plate to take home.
